Strategy first. Design second.

Strategy first. Design second.

By Most redesigns shouldn't happen.
But they do. All the time.
Why?

Because people think changing a logo and colour palette is branding.
It isn't.

That's brand identity - how you express yourself in front of your audience.
Everything that matters sits underneath.

Strong branding starts BEFORE the design.
It starts with the thinking.
That thinking is called brand strategy.

It's about knowing who you are, who you're for, and why you matter.

You need to answer these 5 questions:

1. Purpose: Why do you exist beyond making money?

2. Positioning: What space do you own in people's minds?

3. Audience: Who are you talking to, and what value can you add to their lives?

4. Personality: How do you show up and sound?

5. Promise: What can people always expect from you?

If you can't answer those, you're guessing.
And guesswork costs time, money, and effort.

Strategy defines the outcome of your design.

Get the thinking right first, and the design will do the selling for you.
