Why good ideas FAIL
A good idea will only take you so far.
Real creativity is 50% idea.
50% execution.
It’s like telling the same joke to ten people.
Same words. Same punchline. Same idea.
But only a few comedians make the room erupt.
The joke didn't change. The execution did.
That's exactly what's happening in creative work.
Everyone has access to good ideas.
The same tools. The same references.
In a world where information is free and AI can generate a concept in seconds, the idea is no longer the advantage.
The execution is.
That's not something a 5second prompt gives you.
Great execution demands 2 things most people aren't willing to invest:
Time.
Effort.
The kind that lives in the detail, the iteration, the decision and hard work to push again when it's nearly good enough.
That's what separates the memorable from the forgettable.
